No plans to change the actual netcode in USF4, 'so hard' to put Street Fighter EX characters in SF4 update

David "Dawgtanian" Hinds and Yoshinori Ono have been addressing different fan concerns over on Twitter about the new Ultra Street Fighter 4. Both Capcom representatives touched on various subjects including netcode changes, Championship Mode and more.


First up, Dawgtanian was asked if there would be any improvements to Street Fighter 4's netcode for the upcoming update. Hinds stated that there are currently no plans to change the actual netcode.

Ono also answered a few questions himself, although, some of the answers are a bit harder to decipher. On the subject of adding characters from the Street Fighter EX series to SF4, Ono says that it is "so hard" to get those characters in USF4. When asked if Championship Mode would be making a return to the Street Fighter 4 series, Ono claims that although he appreciates the request, Capcom has no design for it right now. Lastly, we see that Capcom is looking into implementing a story mode into Ultra Street Fighter 4 and may do so in the future. Tip by Roge9.
