New stages in Street Fighter 4 update will be from Street Fighter X Tekken, some changes to Rufus documented Capcom's Matt Dahlgren revealed today that the six new stages in the Street Fighter 4 update will actually be from Street Fighter X Tekken. SFxT has 11 stages total, if you count the training stage, but it's unclear at this time which of these levels will make the cut.

Peter "Combofiend" Rosas also stated that fan feedback is what drove them to update Street Fighter 4 once again, and that feedback had an immense amount of influence on the new version, specifically citing the requests for feedback they sent from the official Capcom websites.

The guys also address changes to Cammy and Rufus, citing with the latter that they made alterations to the damage his Ultra 1 does, and tweaked his Ultra 2 as well, but left his dive kick intact. They also fixed his EX Messiah so it doesn't fly over people's heads, but they're tweaking the follow ups so they're not as powerful.

Following up on the 5th character they're adding into Street Fighter 4, they say they'll reveal who it is later this year, and as previously stated, this individual has never been in a Street Fighter game before.

You can check out the full interview over on Evil Geniuses website which covers these topics and more, as it's a very enlightening piece, which discusses the future of SF4 and what the community should expect from the update.
