Why is Rolento in a DoA game?

Where the hell are the DOA players Tecmo paid to have them whore out DOA5 a few months back? Did they drop the game already? How come we aren't seeing anything like this from them?

@7 no1 was paid anything.
as for DOA content. There is a ton of solid DOA5 content out there. Unfortunately it hardly ever makes it to the Eventhubs forums or the SRK forums simply for the fact that a lot of these players do not know where to direct their videos outside of the DOA websites like and . and even then the vids themselves and matches etc. do not make it to the front page very often. you have to dig for it in the forums.

Then there is the priority issue as some news is simply more important, and most likely the traffic issue. I'm sure the site gets a lot of tips daily that a lot of the produced stuff might be either overlooked or missed. its happened to me personally a few times even when I was producing SF content for Dhalsim and Juri. These things happen and cannot be helped.

Then there's the lack of experience on what content is actually worthy and what people wanna see as well as what the site was designed for in the first place. You find many vids on costume packs being promoted but no tech vids for DOA despite it being out there.
If you guys see something note worthy on other DOA sites (or any other FGC sites out there regarding ANY fighting game really) TIP ABOUT IT !! How else are EH and SRK gonna find out about it? Currently, there has been a shortage even of SF4 Tech vids and the major sites are all driven towards posting matches of top players. But, you hardly ever see tech vids of other games make it onto EH or SRK as well despite many of the games being brand new and tech is being discovered on a daily basis. Maybe some match videos of key players from time to time but Hardly ever any tech vids. Its not that the sites don't wanna put it up, its just that nobody, including the video creators themselves, are telling them about it!

then you get a lousy 10 second video on a frame trap for an SF4 character and it gets headlined. or some Art gallery, or even cosplay. Why? Because they are being informed about it through tips!

Like I said in the beginning of the comment. There's A LOT of great solid content. I even sent them a list of combo vid compilations of other community members which I found worth exposing a few times (especially since I took a step back from making such vids to focus on this current project). But some stuff might simply be missed.

Whats stopping any of you from submitting a tip on a player interview or fan art or even cosplay for DOA or any other fighting game outside of the Capcom ring of games? NOTHING! If you don't show your interest through submitting tips, then these sites will never know what you really wanna see nor will they look for it.

Honestly I am both grateful and honored that EH and SRK are giving my work some exposure. But it is by no means the only work out there. There's a ton of other very active members producing quality work.

You should probably be telling that to the DOA community-- EH is mostly catered to Capcom fighters. Don't assume the majority of EH users are actively looking out for DOA tech vids because that really isn't the case; especially when the majority of us don't even own it.
