Revenge is an ABC prime time American drama that focuses on a character by the name of Emily Thorne who searches for the people who framed her father and got him sentenced to life in prison. In a recent episode, one character tries to enlist the assistance of a skilled hacker but when money isn't enough to persuade her, he jumps to his last resort: a competitive match of Street Fighter 2.

The two battle it out on an old arcade cabinet whilst funky dubbed sound effects play in the background. This amazing scene is rounded out with some fresh trash talk such as, "caring for someone doesn't make you weak, it makes you stronger! Which is why...you..just...got...schooled! Knockout!"

This isn't the only fighting game reference made in the episode as Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the actor who plays Shang Tsung in the Mortal Kombat Legacy series and the original MK feature film, also makes an appearance.

You can check out a few screen shots we took from the episode and a video embed after the jump for your viewing pleasure. Keep an eye out for Ryu's awesome Hadouken against Chun-Li, to which he oddly shouts, "Shoryuken!".
