Always nice to see some TvC gameplay. By far the most underrated capcom fighter in like the last 8 years.

@1 What gave you the impression that TvC was underrated? Because it was on the Wii?

Bringing the quality Dream, I like it. That Duddles combo was sick.

#2 You can't deny the fact that it died way faster than it should because of the Wii and SFIV on the horizon.

@2 Because it was a fantastic game that was immediately killed off by the announcement of Marvel 3 only 3 months after its release.

Because it being on the Wii made a bunch of people claim it was "too kiddy" for them (despite the fact that Karas/Joe Condor/Ippatsuman/Soki/Zero/Alex/Batsu/Tekkaman Blade/Casshan are all pretty badass and not at all "kiddy")

Because it is an underrated title that never got a chance to shine is precisely while I said it was one of the most underrated titles in years.

@5 i agree i have it and still play it sometimes its a really fun, balanced unique game, that should have gotten more attention/hype than it got.

@5 Whoa, whoa. The ladies are pretty badass too. Don't forget Jun The Swan comboing people's asses like whoa and Saki blowing your face up.

Hopefully they'll make a sequel (I think it sold pretty well) and fix all that online stuff and all that, probably for the Wii U/2. (I'm all set with those giant robots though... no thanks!).

Fun game, pretty balanced, could use some tweaks, but I definitely enjoyed it. And I LOVE the novelty of the characters (well, to me, since I'm not an anime person). Good stuff. Here's hoping for a second one that tries harder to stray from MvC3's battle system.

The main reason TvC died was because it was on the Wii, and the Wii's online is horrendous.

Eternal said on February 20, 2012 at 2:22 a.m.

If you think the main reason TvC died is because of Wii's online you are kidding yourself. The main reason it died was Marvel 3 took all of the competition and hype away from a game that was just starting to find a footing. The Wii's online was the secondary reason it failed to find an audience.

Marvel 2 did fine for years without online play.

TvC:UAS had an arcade release (something Marvel 3 didn't have)

A LOT of Marvel 3 competitive players don't even touch the online.(Combofiend for instance) Hell one of the biggest complaints was that MVC3 online was pretty ass (only slightly better than TVC in my experience. Only advantage is friendcodes blow and MVC3 was on ps3/xbox which has chat + user ids)
