Building up hype for the v2013 patch of Street Fighter X Tekken, Capcom UK's SFxT community manager, David "Dawgtanian" Hinds, relayed a few new messages about the game and Capcom's general plans on his Twitter account.

He states that there are a couple of unannounced system changes that Capcom hasn't revealed yet in SFxT v2013, and that he thinks people will be surprised by these. He adds that word on these announced changes might be coming this year, and that the latest version of the title feels like a completely new game.

Hinds notes that the time over issue has been absolutely addressed, and mentions some general notes about Vita compatibility and diagonal input issues, among other things. Hit the Read More link below to check out everything.

Dawgtanian: The newest version of Street Fighter X Tekken v2013 feels like a completely new game. Forget what you think you know about the game.

It's not just a rebalance, the mind games and pace of the game feels a lot different. Not only are the characters capable of new things, but also the players, enabling new strategies and faster paced matches.

I'm really excited by a couple of system changes we've not announced yet! I think you guys are going to be surprised.

Would you say the timeout issue has been addressed?

Dawgtanian: Absolutely.

Dat_Juliano: Will you announce these other changes this year?

Dawgtanian: I would think so but don't quote me on that!

ReaLgoesWronG: I'm guessing it's not wrong to expect that v2013 will also be for Vita same day as consoles.

Dawgtanian: For cross play this is a must.

TheScarzEffect: Is the problem with diagonal inputs fixed?

Dawgtanian: I'll seek confirmation, but I believe so.

BadIntentVG: I hope the system changes include an option to disable quick combos.

Dawgtanian: Hmmm, I wonder. ;)

Hinds also added this note about Capcom in general.

Dawgtanian: The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tournament Series, Street Fighter X Megaman free download, and Street Fighter x Tekken v2013 free patch. You cannot say we are a company who do not cherish our fans.

EternalDragon28: True, but capcom had to, the lies about Xbox local online pair play in SFxT, game breaking glitches and on disc DLC.

Dawgtanian: We make mistakes like any other company, what's important is what we learn from them and what we do moving forwards.
