Deluge of Street Fighter 3 3s info in 4 weeks, higher budget than HD Remix Updated: Additional details and clarifications were added into this story.

Capcom-Unity hosted a live question and answer session with employees Christian Svensson and Seth Killian for about an hour this afternoon.

It was revealed that Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition fans will be deluged with information in about four weeks and that to date it's the highest budget they've ever allotted to one of their digital titles.

Other games, such as Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition and so on were discussed as well. For a transcript of the notable items and an embed of the stream archive, hit the link below.

• There will be a deluge of information about Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition in about 4 weeks. Seth said again that fans will be very, very happy.

• Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition is the highest budget digital title Capcom has done to date, i.e. a lot of money is being devoted to add stuff to the game. It has a higher budget than SSF2T HD Remix — even with all of the redrawn sprites in the previous title.

• People who are not excited about Street Fighter X Tekken right now may be surprised in the future. The gang said there's more stuff to announce that may get people really going, Seth added it'll be a hot topic.

• There was a big meeting about the future of fighting games at Capcom, but they couldn't offer details on what was said there. The session was called "extremely great." Seth said his old quote still stands, it's an exciting time for fighting game fans, people will have smiles on their faces for a long time.

• Capcom is aware of the demand for an upgraded version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 that changes stuff like X-Factor, the DHC Glitch and other things, but there's nothing they can talk about at this time. They're aware of the demand, and it's nice to hear, but nothing they can say on that front right now.

• Seth was asked if there are any mind melting characters like Dark Phoenix was in MvC3 in Street Fighter X Tekken. He said right now the brakes haven't been put on for balance changes, so everyone is kind of a mind melting character right now and are really powerful. More balance changes will of course be coming in the future, though.

• There will be a 4-pack buy for PC version of SSF4 Arcade Edition where if you can get a couple of friends to purchase the game with you, you'll get a significant discount on the title.
• Yoshinori Ono has the Japanese Street Fighter team reading the Capcom-Unity boards although they can't respond there. They're cutting and pasting stuff out and translating it there and a lot of the stuff on the boards is making it into their discussions.

• Word on the street is there is something planned for a launch party for Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition.

• For Capcom vs. SNK 2 to come out again, there would have to be a renegotiation with SNK Playmore, as a contract runs for a period of time and is specified for certain platforms. If the title is going to come out again, a new contract will have to be negotiated.

• Seth has a little bit of juice left in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 that people haven't seen yet, even with popular characters. Doctor Doom was mentioned by name, and he hopes to show these off next time he's able to play in public.

• Street Fighter Alpha 3 is coming to the PSN in the future, as a PS1 classic.
