More Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters in the next week, Ask Capcom video The next Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters — who should be Sentinel and Hsien-Ko given recently leaks — will be officially announced in a week, company vice president, Christian Svensson, revealed in a live Ask Capcom session today.

Svensson also discussed other fighting games, including that Street Fighter Alpha 3 is another title they'd be interested in redoing — although it's currently not in development at this time.

• The next characters for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be officially announced in the next week.

• A redone version of Street Fighter Alpha 3 is not in development as this time, but Svensson said he wouldn't mind for it to be. He feels there are some cool things they could do with Alpha. It sounds like this is something Capcom is going to revisit at some point in the future, he did mention it's still a question mark at this point, though.

• Super Gem Fighter, the PlayStation 1 version, was recently approved to go up on the PlayStation Network. Svensson said it should be up in a few months.

• Capcom has looked into releasing SSF4 AE into American arcades, the mechanics and the costs involved wasn't as attractive as they would have liked, but they're still exploring some western release opportunities for their arcade games, though.

• As previously announced, user-submitted artwork will in some way be involved in Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition.

• Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting (Turbo) was a port, not a game that ran under emulation.
