This is the longest sweep in the game, so it's an excellent tool against opponents who are susceptible to low attacks. People tend to stay mobile in SF6, so that's more people than you might expect. Just don't forget that this move is highly punishable when blocked and your opponent can react with a drive impact.

A good way to sneak it in is to alternate it with low MK, which looks similar but is much safer.

A word of warning, be VERY careful not to press down+forward when attempting to do this move! You don't want to accidentally do the Smetana Dropkick, which is extremely slow, hits mid, and is extremely punishable.
