Jamie Street Fighter 6 moves list, strategy guide, combos and character overview

Overview

Jamie was first confirmed to be a playable character in Street Fighter 6 on June 2, 2022. He made his first appearance among classic fighters Ryu and Chun-Li, as well as newcomer Luke in the first gameplay trailer for the game ever shown.

The drunken-style fighter was created as a newcomer for Street Fighter 6 and, like Luke, is part of the new generation of young world warriors.

Jamie's stand out feature is his long single braid that hangs down and ultimately comes undone when he's had the right amount to drink. He wears a yellow kung-fu getup consisting of an open, collared top, baggy pants, and a rope belt.

This energetic fighter hails from Chinatown and acts as a peacekeeper who aspires to follow in the footsteps of Street Fighter 3's Yun and Yang, the Twin Dragons. An expert dancer, Jamie prioritizes justice and friendship, using his martial arts skills to secure the safety of his town.

Jamie's fighting style revolves around drunken boxing and breakdancing. His move set is unpredictable and he is already looking to be one of the more technical fighters on the roster thanks to his wide array of options.

The cornerstone of Jamie's gameplay is his ability to chug his "ki-unleashing drink." Each time he takes a swig from his large jug, Jamie will go up a level of drunkenness that unlocks new abilities and better properties on certain moves, with the maximum level (level 4) being the strongest and seeing his braid burst open to unleash his long, flowing hair.

From spinning breakdancing kicks to Rekka-style spin punches, Jamie has a ton of options to keep foes locked down and under pressure. This newcomer even comes equipped with a command throw that allows him to combo afterward.
