So, for this last beta I played Rashid strictly. His eagle spike is incredibly unsafe on block (not surprising); however, it goes great for linking after mp, or cr. mk/cr. lp.

Spinning Mixer or Beyblade is a fantastic move overall. It acts as a combo-ender that can push your enemy into the corner. Also, the light version of Beyblade has -2 on block I believe so you can grab right out of it (As long as you don't "Mash" the button at all) This can provide a good reset.

Rashid's V-Skill has some interesting utility, it can be used to cross-up, but most players that are any good will block an Eagle Spike, or punish for simply landing on the ground. However, Rashid's Rolling Assault is fantastic versus projectile spammers. While you are able to roll under hadoukens, you cannot roll under Laura's fireballs, or Chun-Li's Kikoken's.

Overall, your m.P is FANTASTIC as a hit confirm. You can L. Eagle Spike out of it for a reset, L. Beyblade, or my personal favorite Ex. Eagle Spike into m. Beyblade

Rashid's V-trigger, in my opinion, is the best combo extender in the game. For example, it cancels out of standing roundhouse (HK) and from there you can go into EX Eagle Spike or even strong (MP) Spinning Mixer. On that note, Spinning Mixer is great for stun damage and pushing your opponent into the corner. Crouching Fierce (Down+HP) can combo into standing strong (MP) for devastating Critical Art (Super/Ultra) setups. His Critical Art, Altair, is great for jump-in punishes and can be canceled out of the first few frames of light Spinning Mixer. He has two V-Skills (MP+MK), a command jump, and forward roll. These moves can be canceled out of heavy Whirlwind Shot for an overhead low mix-up. The forward roll can get you under fireballs and has an afterward kick that can lead into heavy Spinning Mixer or a Critical Art. Rashid is all about mobility and flying around your opponents. Use his powerful moves to leave your foes guessing!

Rashid is an extremely fun character to use and I notice, if you use his roll cr mp+mk to duck and dodge most projectiles mainly hadokens, you can find a way to knock them in the air and quick throw a mp hp or exp spinning mixer, I have used on combo does 15 hits and about 45% damage, Jump forward HK cr hp v trigger (hk+hp) exp eagle kick timed right id say count to 2 the ex spinning mixer, problem is it works best while the opponent is stunned or doesn't expect it.

Here's some tips

f+HP does not go over low attacks nor is it grab invincible, and if blocked it can be jabbed punished.

st.MK can be comboed into st or cr.LP on counter if close enough

After getting a Crush Counter with st.HK in the middle of the screen, you can do st.HP early and get a cross up, or do it late to fake a cross up.

If you're have trouble getting over or past Zangief, then try to land st.HP into ex.Eagle Spike. It will deal some chip and stamina and get you away for only one bar.

Don't think of Rashid's V.Trigger as just a mix up or pressure tool, it can also be used as a way to get free chip damage. If your opponent is blocking too much, just use the V.Trigger at the back of the screen and do the enhanced version of Eagle Spike. This version of Eagle Spike is very fast, does 38 chip damage, and is very hard to punish or get pressure off of. You can get three of these from one tornado, leading to 114 damage in chip. You can also use the remaining distance to get a running Eagle Spike that is safe against certain characters (not Birdie, Dictator, or Cammy)

Rashids wind manipulation is key in his movement. all of his whirlwind shots have a use in a ranged situation. his light shot if hits in the air can be followed up by and Ex eagle spike, though it is risky in case he doesn't jump and then blocks the spike. His medium one is good for a medium range jump in just to check them and keep them on the ground so they are afraid of the air. And the heavy shot at full-screen is incredibly useful because you can then cancel into the V-skill to either leap or roll your way right over to the opponent.

Rashid is a character designed to baffle. Rashid has a lot of options with what he can do meaning your gameplan is revolved around forcing the opponent to guess wrong about what your going to do by hiding all your tricks. Any magicians will surely love Rashid as you place the opponent in a position where they think they have the upperhand and then flip the table on them leaving them baffled and confused.

Allright this is the first time im doing this but hopefully i can help a few people with this tips
The following tips are better suited for new coming players on rashid and to help average players get a better understanding bout the fighter

Allright so Rashid is a rushdown char that relies on his eagle spike and spining mixer for dmg one slight problem Rashid main dmg tool (eagle spike) is extremly unsafe and is easily punishable especialy with char like karin,chun,birdie,necalli who can get big big dmg from simple punishes without the need to setup their combos.

rashid has a few cancelable normals but the ones that he has deal pretty good dmg but you will have to practice hit confirms to get dmg and get out of there quickly like:

cr MK to (L) eagle spike-
u can also bait crush counters if you do this link with the opponent blocking by back dashing after the ealge spike then hitting st HP

standing MP to (L) spinning mixer- mash for better dmg

rashid can also play mixups due to his projectile, a big plus is that you can cancel this move into rashids v skill to slide under the it or use the eagle spike airborne for big dmg

rashids most damaging normal is his crouching hp witch can linked into:

cr hp,st. hp into spinning mixer

cr. hp,st mp into spinning mixer

cr.hp,cr mk into eagle spike

you can also combine the ex version of rashids spinning mixer and eagle spike for big dmg
just do ex eagle spike into ex spinning mixer

rashids v trigger serves to make mixups with your v skills or to make your approaches safe also it makes you faster as you move through the twister

to wrap all up heres rashids max dmg combo without the critical art

air hp,cr. hp, st hp into ex spining mixer (mash for greater dmg)

Until Juri is released, Rashid will be my main character, I've played Chun Li and Rashid the most and Rashid was the one I had fun with. Even if I lost, it was still refreshing to see his moves in action.

Rashid was the first character I picked up in the beta, he is by far one of the most fun characters I picked up on. He employs set up after set to keep the enemy guessing and you always need to be two steps ahead to build up momentum in a match.

Pros:
Many long range normals
Good high low game with a vortex game play that improves greatly once V-Trigger is activated.
Aerial game is quite good
Can close the gap on opponents very easily

Cons
Lack of cancellable normals
Horrible anti-air game
Mixups can get shut down quite easily by characters with good reversals

His eagle spike and spinning mixer unique attacks have to be done out of his forward dash run.
