Jacqui Briggs' Variations

Shotgun - In the Shotgun Variation, Jacqui is equipped with gauntlets that fire shotgun blasts. She gains the ability to fire two different blasts: one the hits low (which will knockdown or stagger your opponent depending on the range it is hit from) and a straight blast that starts up fast and is good for controlling space.
Full Auto - The Full Auto Variation is all about zoning. Jacqui's Full Auto gauntlets grant her the ability to fire rockets. These projectiles can be fired up-forward, which is great for anti-air, and down-forward for a low hit that can be delayed with Meter Burn. She can also fire machine guns that work well as a great zoning tool from anywhere on screen.
High Tech - Instead of a shotgun blast, the High Tech Variation gives Jacqui a quick plasma blast. This projectile can be charged, firing a larger blast and dealing more damage. She also gains the ability to power herself up, making her punch attacks hit harder.

This goes all characters. When trying to punish attacks, if you use a normal move it will come out 1 frame later because recovery from blocking is 1 frame. So trying to punish a move that is -6 will mean you need an attack with 5 frame startup unless its a special attack. Special attacks start up normally because they are reversals.

Anytime you use Bionic Dash (back, foward, 2) you can follow it up with a Force Rush (back, forward, 1) to get some extra damage. This works great as a finisher.

As a fellow Jacqui player I'm aware of the struggle that lies within. I main the Full Auto variation simply because of the frame traps and corner carry she can maintain. Not to say it's the best variation, but this lies in my personal preference. She has insane corner damage and solid corner carry universally, I just find it more suitable with rockets. Jacqui with any variation requires work, she doesn't have a lot of mixup like most characters and she lacks footsie gameplay. In the end she can create opportunities through frame traps and speed, to rush down the opposition with pure offense.
