Skarlet Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate moves

Overview

Tier Ranking: 15th MK11 Tiers Popularity: 1st

Skarlet was part of Mortal Kombat 11's 25 character starting lineup, and was available to play upon the game's release back on April 23, 2019.

She made her playable debut as one of Mortal Kombat 2011's DLC characters, and joined that roster on June 21, 2011. She was skipped over in Mortal Kombat X, but has a total of two playable instances on her resume now.

Shao Kahn's deadliest creation, Skarelt is a blood mage who is dressed in red and black. Her red face mask, hood, and goggles make her look as though she's ready to brave the deserts of Outworld, and her red cape and black leather costume offer further protection from the elements. She also carries a dagger in one hand at all times.

Skarlet uses specials like her teleport, parry, Blood Shot projectile, and Blood Tentacle to control space and zone opponents. She aims to get a decent bit of her damage from far away, whether that be from full screen with specials or from mid range with her relatively far normals.

She has a lot of Flawless Block gaps in her strings, so learned opponents will have a relatively easier time dealing with her close pressure. You can fight from afar for most of the match as Skarlet, but you'll inevitably want to augment that approach with some close quarters combat, and that can be where she falls a bit apart.

Though she's decent at zoning and space control, her lack of up close pressure plummets her down many tier lists. She may not be a bottom five ranked character, but she's often regarded to be in the bottom 10. Pro players don't usually have a ton of competitive faith in Skarlet, and place her lower on tier charts.

The very concept of a character who can control blood with their mind is very Mortal Kombat, and creepy to the nth degree. She has some of the coolest animations as she manifests and manipulates blood, and don't even get us started on her Fatalities. She's not the best for wins, but she just oozes personality in Mortal Kombat 11.

After player her for a while now I got to say.
She pretty fun.
Both variations are very good and have much to offer.
I like the one with the parry.
But the other is strong because you can end all your combos with that restand move robbing your opponents of their wake up attacks.
Not the easiest brutalities to pull off plus one not being in a tournament version kinda sucks.

Zoner character.
Has a slow moving projectile that one could use with her teleport to create mixups.
Has some high/low options.
Good good kombos.
