Nightwolf Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate moves

Tier Ranking: 20th MK11 Tiers Popularity: 18th

Nightwolf joined Mortal Kombat 11's roster on August 13, 2019 as part of the initial wave of DLC characters in Kombat Pack 1.

The Native American shaman has been around for quite a while now as he was first introduced in Mortal Kombat 3 on April 15, 1995.

Nightwolf primarily wears light blue as his helmet and outerwear pads are all mostly this color. Red is his secondary color as he has a decent amount of body paint as well as a few red highlights in his armor.

This character has a lot of important tools including great maneuverability through his walk speed and dashes. He uses his Tomahawk Swing command grab to open up opponents, and his Spirit Tracks launcher makes for some great combo extensions. The command grab leaves foes nearby for additional pressure on their wake up, which can easily lead into another command grab.

He technically has most all the tools he'd need to excel, but relies on more special attacks than the game allows players to use simultaneously. He essentially has to forsake a crucial enhancement to his kit, be it in his command grab, arrow projectile, or launcher.

Nightwolf is regarded as a fairly average contender in MK11, often placed around the middle of the pack on tier charts, and sometimes a few rungs lower. He is quite a solid character, it's just that others tend to do what he likes to do better than he does it.

If the Great Spirit is ushering you toward playing Nightwolf, you absolutely should. This character has a lot of fun tools and offers a well rounded Mortal Kombat 11 experience. If you're chasing tournament wins, you might want to go with a rush down character like Sub-Zero instead, but there's nothing quite like putting your foes in a Tomahawk Swing vortex and seeing how many times they'll fall for the grab.
