Sergeant Jacqueline Sonya "Jacqui" Briggs (the daughter of Jax Briggs) is another key member of Mortal Kombat's new guard of fresh fighters. She was part of the Mortal Kombat 11's launch roster, and as such has been available to play since MK11's April 23, 2019 release.
Like Cassie Cage, Jacqui was first introduced in Mortal Kombat X (April 7, 2015) as part of the latest generation of combatants. Like her father, Jacqui uses cybernetic enhancements (powered up mechanic gauntlets and leg additions) to deliver even more impact behind her punches and kicks.
Her MK11 appearance is something of a hybrid between a military soldier and a kickboxer. She has brown eyes and dons short dreadlocks that reach down only to her neck, and wears a green shirt under white Special Forces armor plating.
Jacqui utilizes a handful of weapons in her battle approach including grenades, a shotgun, and electrified or boosted physical attacks. Not only can she dole out the damage with these, but she can also use them to maneuver herself about the battlefield in extremely strategic ways.
With extremely good and long-reaching normals in neutral, an incredible jump in, and gimmicks that allow her keep opponents guessing, Jacqui is one of the strongest characters in Mortal Kombat 11. She's a beast up close as she dishes out plenty of damage, even when her attacks are blocked.
Opponents who push her away are not in the clear, either, as she can zone reasonably well with her grenades, and suddenly spring forward with her leaping maneuver as well as her forward moving attacks.
Jacqui is often ranked in or just outside of the top three in tier lists as she excels in so many categories and has very little in the way of weaknesses. She's obviously meant to appeal to the younger crowd, but most anyone who plays Mortal Kombat 11 will likely have a fun time using her.
