Frost Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate moves

Overview

Tier Ranking: 29th MK11 Tiers Popularity: 16th

Frost was a part of Mortal Kombat 11's 25 character starting lineup, and was first revealed and available to play upon the game's release back on April 23, 2019.

Frost initially popped up on November 16, 2002 as an unlockable character in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, and has made a few appearances in main entry titles since that time.

This character's appearance was heavily changed for Mortal Kombat 11 as she has been made into a cyborg. Though recognizable through her face and icy blue hair, Frost is now a machine. As such, she can disassemble herself and cycle through various limb replacements including sharp edges and drills, but still retains her cryomancer powers to freeze opponents with.

Sub-Zero's most dangerous apprentice is versatile in Mortal Kombat 11, but excels most when at mid to long range from opponents. Her Ice Auger projectile is key to her kit as she can use it both to pester from afar and within certain strings, and her far reaching pokes are relatively fast and can be used to surprise opponents from medium distances.

One of Frost's best looks is when she's zoning foes out of their sweet spots, which is often relatively close up. She can poke opponents as they attempt to get into their best positions as many of her attacks give her options from distances where other characters can't do much. She can also use Glacier Calving as an anti-projectile shield, and her Microburst allows her to freeze foes mid combo and continue on for more damage.

Despite her obvious strengths, Frost has relatively low damage output compared to many of her roster mates. She also has a rougher time when foes do manage to close the gap, meaning she relies heavily on controlling the flow of matches. She places fairly low on most pro player tier rankings as a solid but flawed fighter. It's not uncommon to see her around the upper portion of the bottom 10 in the game.

Frost began as a female Sub-Zero clone, but has garnered plenty of fan appreciation over the years and looks arguably better than ever in her Mortal Kombat 11 appearance. This is a great character for players who love to pester and annoy opponents, but expect to have to work for your wins as you'll need to land one or two more clean hits than most others to empty a life bar with her.

Her mix is really BAD and slow but it can be scary on block so make sure to mix throws as they are honestly the only reliable Krushing blows she has sadly and as of this post she does NOT get a damage boost when using core overload
