D'Vorah Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate moves

Overview

Tier Ranking: 35th MK11 Tiers Popularity: 35th

D'Vorah was part of Mortal Kombat 11's 25 character starting lineup, and was available to play upon the game's release back on April 23, 2019.

One of the newest characters welcomed into the Mortal Kombat universe, D'Vorah made her debut back on April 7, 2015 with Mortal Kombat X's release. She's been turning (and severing) heads ever since with a grotesquely intriguing design and with major impact to the overall lore.

D'Vorah is perfectly made for the world of Mortal Kombat. She's of a colonial insect race called the Kytinn who band together to form humanoid bodies. D'Vorah has yellow skin, black hollow eyes, and four wing/pincers that protrude from her back. She wears a tattered black cloak that somewhat conceals her monstrous form, but is quickly betrayed by the winged insects that can be constantly seen fluttering about as well as entering and exiting her body.

D'Vorah's go to game plan usually revolves around strategically getting lingering bug attacks out on the screen (such as her Deadly Swarm, Ticking Time Bug, Fireflies, Ground Swarm, and Strepsiptera) and using them to enhance rush down tactics.

These specials either limit options for opponents to maneuver or dole out extra damage over time after hitting, making for a constant sense of anxiety for D'Vorah's opposition if used correctly. Once a foe begins to hesitate, D'Vorah can launch into gnarly strings that are filled with mix ups and backed by recently placed on screen hazards.

Despite being a powerhouse capable of taking out even the most beloved characters when it comes to the story, D'Vorah is only a mid tier character when it comes to competitive Mortal Kombat 11. She tends to be ranked with an equal quantity of roster members above and below her, but doesn't top or trail most tier lists.

Though you could easily come to the conclusion that D'Vorah's gross out features and antagonizing villainous nature might come across as initially off putting, the facts that she's so formidable and intriguing have this relatively new character well on her way to becoming a Mortal Kombat staple.
