Cassie Cage (the daughter of MK originals Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage) is an integral part of Mortal Kombat's new guard or next generation of fighters, as well as one of the most charismatic and successful.
Following her very successful Mortal Kombat X debut (April 7, 2015) Cassie was brought immediately back for Mortal Kombat 11's starting roster, and thus has been playable since its April 23, 2019 release date.
The character's appearance has changed a decent bit for MK11 as Cassie now wears her blonde hair longer and usually in a pony tail that makes her look a lot more like her mother than she in her first appearance.
The young Cage dons protective armor plating over the majority of her body as she aids Earthrealm's Special Forces in its wars with other realms like Outworld. Very much a millennial, Cassie is all about tech, social media, and other such trends. This is nodded to directly through her fighting style as she has a drone that follows her and performs various maneuvers during battle.
You'll surely recognize some of Cassie's attacks as they mimic those of her parents, (such as Johnny's Shadow Kick) but she also regularly resorts to using her dual pistols to both pester and juggle opponents.
Cassie is often placed in the higher levels of most MK11 tier lists as she doles out great damage, has a myriad of very strong buttons in neutral, and mid attacks that can be hit confirmed into longer combos. She does have a weakness, however, and that's in her relatively smaller health pool that makes her into a glass cannon of sorts.
A character who has been doing a decent job of carrying the torch into a new generation of Mortal Kombat and relating to a new generation of players, Cassie packs a real punch in Mortal Kombat 11... just don't get hit!
