Once Zangief turns into Metal Zangief (Which is Iron body super), he permanently gains Hyper Armor (unless he reverts to normal Zangief). He cannot be launched, tripped, or stumbled. He also cannot guard and jumping normally is nearly impossible. On the other hand, he gains newer attacks and inflicts heavier damage.
