Can this guy even block? Every video I see he is getting beat up bad! I know he at least has a reflector shield.

Fame96 said on February 3, 2011 at 9:48 a.m.

Yes he can block he weakness mainly lie in his normals. They lack range and damage so it make him have to stay away and use his specials to win.

tonyyao82 said on February 4, 2011 at 8:41 a.m.

I take it that the Level 3 is the move he grabs with his whips and shocks you, correct?

Fame96 said on February 4, 2011 at 9:33 a.m.

Yes you are correct

tonyyao82 said on February 8, 2011 at 9:35 a.m.

Oh ok, so that's probably going to be a Level 3.

earthboundkid22 said on February 8, 2011 at 10:04 a.m.

he looks like a weird mix of dwight from the office and a crappy toy cellphone and plus his voice actor really sucks

I'm calling it like i've called it, this guy is going to be amazing.

Hopefully scrubs don't get him nerfed

I don't get why anyone would use the Psionic High Blast - it looks just like the regular Psionic Blast - I would use the Analysis Cube to use the Jamming Bomb only, unless I am missing something. Also, how does the Barrier work?

He's my main, I love the oddball characters in fighting games.

NecroB said on February 28, 2011 at 1:16 a.m.

if you crouch and hit medium he throws out this green substance, also if you hold back and hit fierce he throws out his barrier shield; if you hold back and hit exchange he throws out a bigger version of his shild

MadnessFamilyguile said on March 7, 2011 at 6:27 p.m.

Psionic high blast can combo into psionic blast lp into the hyper....but other than that it does decent damage for alright startup

the shield blocks....pretty much almost anything thats not a hyper. It will block anything other zoning characters have pretty much and make it a pain for most characters to get in on you, and if they do get in they usually get setup for a combo

Killer Illumination isn't a level 3.

Osbjorn said on May 9, 2011 at 10:33 p.m.

Modok is very very powerful, He is without a doubt the best keepaway character in the game(he can easily outshot arthur using the shield). Levels of understanding when used apporiatly make him even more of a threat. And if he touchs you in the corner you are going to die!

GodPride said on June 20, 2011 at 2:36 p.m.

Oddball looking character who's tough for anyone to use appropriately is a wast of space because he'll rarely get any playtime. I've one seen this character once on the wednesday night fight LevelUpSeries and nowhere else.

I think Sieg Warhiet would have been a better candidate. He would have been a lot more technical with his 7 legionaires mechanic and because he does not look like a troll, he would must likely get more playtime.

CyberPunkViking said on July 11, 2011 at 11:25 a.m.

@#17 yah, cept Warhiet has no connection to any of the other characters. You might as well ask them to put in redshirt. MODOK is classic, old school cap america villan, and so what if no one uses him dosnt make him bad.

Still need to correct Killer Illumination to a Level 1.

MODOKKK said on September 20, 2011 at 8:33 a.m.

yes, killer illumination is level 1 not level 3

MODOK is the BEST!!!

TheTierCritic said on December 8, 2012 at 9:47 p.m.

MODOK is a very underestimated character. He has a wide set of specials that allow you to play defensively or offensively. He can sweep an entire team, and has some of the best assists in the game. I also love this guys personality. He always cracks me up.
