Reports: Retail copies of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 surfacing

Reports: Retail copies of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 surfacing There have been a lot of reports of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 being sold at various places around the United States today, even though the game is officially set for a February 15, 2011 release date.

Whether you'll be able to find a retail copy of the game depends on the area you live in. If you're interested in grabbing the game early, you can call around or check various retail outlets that would normally carry it.

While there's been a few people who picked up the game even before today, the availability of the title has increased dramatically, and it's possible you can find an early copy if you look around.

Felicia 1,000,000 dmg Marvel vs. Capcom 3 combo, Chris & Ryu missions

SprintGod put up video of a no assist, no X-Factor 1,000,000 damage combo with Felicia in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. This is one of the first videos I've seen showing such a feat, but it certainly won't be the last, as Seth Killian has been saying for some time, all of the characters in the game have plenty of juice.
Also, there's video of Chris Redfield and Ryu completing their mission modes after the jump.

Quick Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Q&A with Capcom's Wes Phillips

Quick Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Q&A with Capcom's Wes Phillips has an interview with Capcom's Wes Phillips concerning Marvel vs. Capcom 3. This recaps A LOT of known information, but the first few questions have some interesting bits in them, although nothing that's going to knock your socks off. Here's a grab.

It's been over 10 years since the last Marvel vs. Capcom game. Why so long?

Wes: There's so many properties involved and so many different license-holders. Half of the problem was wrangling all of those things together and half of an ending-game renaissance to get the sting back on track. It took a bit of time to get everything together, but we finally did it, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is an awesome game.

Was Stan Lee involved with the game at all?

Wes: No, Stan Lee is not really directly involved, even though he created most of the characters, which is why his fingerprints have been on the title. It's the hands-on development team that have fostered this baby to the world.

Deadpool vs. Dante Marvel vs. Capcom 3 showdown

Deadpool vs. Dante Marvel vs. Capcom 3 showdown Two of the most popular characters in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 have had their showdown spotlights posted on, Dante and Deadpool. Here's an overview of their play styles, hit the link for more information from Sumoslamman about both fighters.

Deadpool's Play Style: A little on the slow side, Deadpool’s fast projectiles make up for what he lacks in rush down pressure. His Trigger Happy bullet storm can be cancelled into his Happy-Happy Trigger hyper for some great damage and quality DHC capabilities. Katana-Rama! gives you a wall bounce you can use for a guaranteed hyper or relaunch into more Poolie shenanigans. Heck, play Deadpool just for his awesome animations and witty one-liners, you won’t be disappointed.

Dante's Play Style: The Son of Sparda has an answer for nearly every situation he might find himself in. While he can’t play the best rushdown game, his normals are slower than most, his teleport always puts him above and behind his enemies head in a perfect position to punish those not paying attention. Dante’s Million Dollars hyper is easily comboed into off of a slew of his special attacks and works great by itself or in any DHC situation. Really, with over 40 special moves at his disposal and his Devil Trigger, which enhances all of his abilities, you can play him any way you feel like.

Arcade Infinity closing on Feb. 26, cabinets for sale

Arcade Infinity closing on Feb. 26, cabinets for sale Arcade Infinity has made it official, again, that their arcade in Rowland Heights, California will be closing down on February 26, 2011.

I XaVi3R I provided these details as to why the Tao brothers are closing shop.

Last night I made a Twitter post stating that I had heard from Ken Tao, owner of AI, that they were being forced to close their doors (again). This time it's permanent. L.A. County denied the application for a business license extension that was requested by the owners of Diamond Plaza. The County wants the Tao brothers to close shop, pay for a new license, and wait for all of the hearings and city council votes in order to stay open (this could take up to 8 months). Ken stated that it wasn't the money that was the problem this time, it's how long AI would have to remained closed while waiting for the final word, which would have likely been "no" anyway. The arcade is closing its doors on February 26th, 2011.
