Capcom intends to speed up development times of flagship franchises, looking to be top provider of digital content
@49 Costs don't necessarily have to go up if the objective of this plan, which I assume to be to generate more sales, is successful. Either way it seems pretty risky and it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. It could be significant that Capcom feels they have to take this risk at this particular point in time.

@32 Maybe, maybe not. The business world isn't that clear-cut. And why can't the 1000 new employees contribute to better quality?

Again, I can't stop laughing at all of you who think Capcom isn't supposed to be trying to make money. When I read the title I was very worried that we'd be getting a lot more rushed, "unfinished" games like SFxT, but the hiring of 1000 new employees could make this a good and sustainable plan. We'll see.
Street Fighter 2 characters play with a Portal Gun, Maximilian's Soul Calibur 5 TOW ep. 12 and Street Fighter X Tekken rival battles in 3rd costumes
If the two portals are on the same plane, that is; as is the case in the preview. If there's one on the floor and one on the ceiling, then the feet would both go in and come out first. It really comes down to the Portal engine keeping you in the same orientation, but the preview is correct according to the case of having two portals on the same plane in the real game.

@19 Yeah, that's what I'm saying. If your feet go in a portal first, your head comes out of the other portal first. So, if you could turn upside down in Portal, if your head went in first, your feet would come out first, just like in the preview. It's not theoretically or spatially correct (if such portals were even possible in the first place), of course, but it's how the real game is.

@7 Are you sure? I'm pretty sure that in Portal if you put two portals side by side on the floor and jump in one feet-first, you won't come out of the other upside down. In other words, you come out the same orientation you go in, so the preview is right in the context of the game.

@326 Nice opinion to you too.
Cross Counter Live #209 - RedRapper joins Mike Ross and Combofiend to debut a trailer and L.I. Joe to talk ECT
Good show overall tonight. I liked the attempt at the "live music", but they really should have had at least a backing track for RedRapper. I usually like RedRapper's material, but this was a little flat. It may not have been planned though.
Harada says timing for Street Fighter X Tekken's release wasn't good, unlucky - thinks market is saturated, talks TTT2 features
@28 I don't know where you're getting that. Just as many people that are hating on it are saying they're having fun and remaining optimistic despite the major flaws. There are still plenty of people playing both on and offline. I can understand some of the backlash due to the sketchy business practices and acknowledge that a lot of people are not having fun due to the problems, but it's baffling to me as to ...

@17 That statement would be valid if the fighting game market were anywhere close to the size of the FPS market. While the over-saturation factor is obviously not the only reason for SFxT not meeting its sales target, anyone who says it doesn't exist doesn't have a clue what they're talking about.
