"there are differing views on DLC. Everyone needs to decide whether there's value in the offering or not and make your purchasing decisions accordingly. That's true not just of MvC3, but of all games." Agreed, which is why I won't buy it. Not the DLC, but the game. Otherwise you're stuck playing against characters you havent paid extra money to unlock, and thats as stupid as all those 'freemium' games where its free to play ...

If they add annoying drm that hurts the gameplay, then I'll pirate it so I don't have to deal with it. I bought 3 copies of PC SFIV (2 as steam gifts), but I'm not going to put up with some crazy copy protection scheme that only legit customers have to deal with.
