You guys are thinking of this all wrong. A crossover could be easily done. You're thinking of all the Street Fighter/Capcom characters at full scale, but they've been in other forms. Remember Puzzle Fighter/Pocket Fighter? If you had Chibi Ryu or Ken VS Mario or Luigi it would work completely. Making it possible for a SF-style crossover AND a Smash style crossover.
