Super Street Fighter 4 AE 2012 JP stats: Daigo's Ryu dominates Yun and Fei Long
Jyobin has the opposite style of play to Daigo. Daigo plays defensive and pressures opponents with fireballs, Jyobin on the other hand plays rushdown and does random things. How can you read somebody who seems to have a random play style? I've always said, random play style with brilliant execution = scary opponent. Jyobin is being rewarded for sticking with ryu during AE, whereas Daigo needs to level up again after investing a huge amount ...
Super Street Fighter 4 AE matches featuring Overmostheads' Oni, more stuff
I can say first hand that overmostheads has an excellent Oni and probably an even better Dhalsim. I'm pretty sure I played some endless with him last week sometime with my ryu and he destroyed it, lol. I dont come across that many oni's online so when Overmostheads turned up with his, I got my ass handed to me. I just couldnt read those slashes where you have to block the opposite way!

#6, The tatsu change is a major buff for Ryu. The counter hit into U2 is a nothing change. The ryu in the first video tried doing ex fireball fadc U2, but because he didnt get the counter hit, he skipped the U2 and lost 3 bars of ex just for risking it! I still think U1 is going to be the Ultra of choice. Apart from that, nothing else changed for Ryu.

Also, that Ryu in the first video is exceptional. Any body know who it is? I'm suspecting Jyobin purely due to his extremely aggressive play style.

I'm loving Ryu's new Tatsu! its gonna make it easier to chase the runaway players.
More Super Street Fighter 4 AE v2012 location test footage: Hakan, Gouken & Yun
I'm happy for all the Hakan players out there who perservered with a "joke" character. I hope Hakan is atleast B tier after the update. I've tried playing with Hakan briefly in training mode/trials etc. and he just seemed really 'odd' and I just couldnt get used to him. Looking forward to a day when Hakan gets to a tournament final. I still think he needs a reliable AA.
Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012 Alpha changes for all 39 cast members
Is it me or are capcom making too many changes too often? I'm not 100% comfortable with the changes they made between Super and AE and now there is gonna be a whole bunch of changes in 2012. Each time changes are made, we have to relearn the matchups....and there are alot of matchups. Capcom should have let AE mature for a bit, people would have found ways to overcome bad matchups.
Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012 Alpha changes for all 39 cast members
lol, Yun and Yang! to tell you the truth, I never really had any major problems in any matchup agains the twins (I main Ryu). They should buff all the low tier characters so that they become top tier for one edition. This will mean that all the tier hoppers will start using the old crap characters and will spread the character selection around a bit. I'm still waiting for the day that Daigo mains ...
Rebalancing was originally planned for Street Fighter 3 Online Edition
Capcom will release the game as it is without the rebalances and see how the market reacts to it. If its a huge success then I can see them rebalancing it due to public demand. If it isnt a big success then it will stay as it is but atleast hardcore sf3 players will be able to play against each other online. This is a nice gesture by Capcom, they could have just concentrated on ...
