You would think with a major so close to US that more top American players would show up but I guess nobody really cared unless they were competing in the exhibition. It would have been nice to see something like: US team B - Flash Metriod, PR Rog, Dieminion, Latif, and Ricky Ortiz. Maybe next time. Was very entertaining though. Amazing matches.

Yo can't really compare this to SBO. SBO doesn't pay for players flights and lodging/accommodations. As a matter of fact SBO won't even pay the players that won the damn event. They give them some bogus prize. And with SBO there is no free stream. At least with Canada Cup I can see where the money is going.

@20 Think outside the box. If this is possible I don't see why gief cant punish a -1 recovery move with an super that starts up in 1 frame(if he still has it in this game). This looks like it has a ton of punishing potential.

The other gems must be really powerful for good players not to want to use autoblock at all. Autoblock might be bad against certain matchups like Dhalsim and Sagat where your gonna get hit trying to get in but what about characters like Cammy and Rufus who just wanna touch you once and it leads to a big combo. auto-block gem looks like it will only be good to use if your opponent is really good. For example if your playing someone that can hit confirm a frame trap jab into over 50% damage everytime then you should use it. You can still block majority of the attacks but it will protect you from the one time you slip up.

I think the meter building gems would probably be the most useful ones in a game like this where you have cross cancels, switch cancels, cross arts and cross assaults along with the supers and ex moves. The bad part is those are the gems you have to pre-order to get. I just hope this doesn't turn into some pay to win bs.
