Feedback from the community being pursued for Street Fighter X Tekken, sent to producer
Before the game launched, producers and pro-gamers who tried the game kept saying: "You can't play this like SF4"..."You'll get destroyed if you play this like SF4" That was a huge RED FLAG.

I don't think any patch alone will bring players back to this game. It'll keep some people playing to stop the bleeding, but it won't bring a significant number of people back. They need to admit that the game isn't what they had hoped it would be and focus on a version 2 - "Super SFxT" or whatever. With version 2, I hope to see fundamental changes to the game design. The problems here go ...

I played this game for 15 minutes and knew it was a dude. Wasted $70 on a paper weight - this makes me hesitant to buy another Capcom product after all the hype.
Yoshinori Ono left Street Fighter's R&D team, still supporting franchise - Ryota Niitsuma likely attending EVO
SFxT was way too ambitious and poorly executed (too many features, game mechanics, dlc debacle). But I do appreciate all of Ono's contributions. You can't deny that he had a major role in not only resurrecting the Street Fighter franchise, but the Fighting Game Community as a whole.

Ono preparing for 'new something', following up on modifications to Street Fighter X Tekken
The SFxT is a total failure. I can't even go online without playing the same 2-3 people over and over again. They introduced way too many new ideas with this game. SF4 was successful because it played similarly to SF2 (the game that started it all) - they kept it simple.
Street Fighter X Tekken patch 1.02 out now for both PSN and Xbox Live - Fixes online sound glitch and adds tournament gem support
For those posting that they have 3Mb/s+ internet... Bandwidth has little to do with lag - it's all about latency. You can be on a 3mb/s connection and have no lag or can be on 4G (100mb/s) and be lagged to hell.
Capcom: Street Fighter X Tekken's local co-op mode was never advertised for Xbox 360 - communication about mode less than clear
This game is a fiasco
