@40 I think that's where we mistaking each other. I don't think that they will redraw the sprites after the delays that SSFTHDR had because of it. I think that re-balancing and tweaks are definite. Who knows maybe that's why they aren't showing anything. Maybe they are redrawing the sprites and just going to spring it on us randomly. I wouldn't mind an HD Remix, but the sprites look great as is.

@ 13 I doubt they are going to do an HD Remix for Third Strike. Some balancing and code optimizations may happen, but other then that what else is there?

What do people actually need to see as far as Third Strike? It's just a port with achievements/trophies right? I'm ok with the radio silence. I know the SFxT is two years off, but at least we saw video so that builds some hype for me. I'm excited for these two games, and I'm fine with waiting on them and information on them. I'm more interested in what SSFIV Arcade and more importantly MvC3 are ...
Spencer, Arthur, Magneto & MODOK confirmed for Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Interesting picks. I'm excited for Spencer, regardless of the iteration that they used (I'm probably one of the few that doesn't mind it). They will probably be some Hazama comparisons, but he looks like a solid character. He will probably be on my squad. Arthur looks fun; I liked playing with the lesser used characters in MvC2, so I might mess with around him. Magneto is Magneto. Wasn't really a fan of him in MvC2 ...

Beside the porting and instituting an online component with GGPO, a lot of balancing has to be done. Plus, they just started work on it so I wouldn't expect it until after MvC3 comes out.

at this stage of the game could character roster changes happen? I don't know how long it takes to create a character from scratch, but I'd think it be a substantial amount of time unless it's a subtle way of saying "we are deciding who will be on disk and who would be DLC"?

I guess I won't be downloading any alt costumes until July. I'd rather pay once for all of them.
