Nuki talks about his past with Daigo Umehara
I thought he mentioned SFZ2 as being the inferior game to SSF2X? He didn't prove himself wrong - I think it's more the case that from what was said on the video presented enough fact to convince that you'd like to believe Daigo proved himself wrong when he really has nothing to prove to himself in the first place. I speculate it's more "I've played this series for so damn long...what the heck I'll just ...
Nuki talks about his past with Daigo Umehara
@ #6 Basically he thought Ryu wasn't so great in SF4, and that Ryu isn't a character he'd recommend for SF4 (for competitive or fun factor reasons? I don't know, he didn't specify). Daigo would still use Ryu, but non-fireball characters have now been brought up to line against fireball characters to the point that the number of unfavourable matchups for Ryu have increased dramatically. He previously had an interest in Yun back in the ...
SBO 2010 rematch played on Super Street Fighter 4
Commentator: How was the jet-lag? Did it have any affect on your performance today? Daigo: Yes I'm still feeling jetlagged, though I won regardless... (everyone laughs) *This rematch took place just a day or two after returning from his major overseas tour in 2010*

A lot of the comments' authors here are unable to construct well-thought arguments to support their way-off-the-mark statements. In addition to that they are mostly incapable (in the first place) of reading comprehension - please, before posting, read thoroughly and read over what you're about to say. What most of you are all doing is picking one small portion of the entire text, then taking it out of its intended context and then re-interpreting it ...

#684 It isn't so much Ken's options are limited as it is Momochi's options were limited. Two days before departure to the US he wrote on his blog that he doesn't know much about the Adon match-up. The look on Momochi's face straight after the grand finals pretty much said "Yep, I'm not surprised..." Also Momochi once said, bluntly, "I find Akuma boring now..." and this led to his search for a new main.

From Mago's twitter account *Apologies for any errors of any kind* I owe today's victory to a few dudes who happened to be on XBox live today: an unknown C.Viper player (he was quite skilled), Kindevu, Haitani, and to Tonpi the day before who kindly devoted his time for an endless-100. I have no idea how many hundreds of matches we must have played (lol). Many thanks!
Seasons Beatings & SoCal Regionals tournament updates
Some thoughts from Momochi (2010-10-12, Japan time) ...I leave for America in two days. Today or tomorrow I need to think about how to deal with the Rufus/Adon/Dhalsim/Dudley match-ups. Adon and Dudley smell strongly of danger... I've got Kindevu to help me out with Rufus. Actually this isn't the time to be thinking match-ups - I haven't even started packing...

(From Mago's Twitter account) *The bracketed part below is my own input, not Mago's* I'm glad I watched the stream - I'm absolutely pumped. If I hadn't watched the stream and only saw the posted results, I probably wouldn't be as excited as I am now (for the rest of the tournament, and to win it).

#61 Thanks! I didn't see it from that perspective (which I feel so embarrassed about by the way! lol). (From Momochi's blog: http://momo3rd.exblog.jp/) *Momochi wrote this entry at 20:47 which I think was just before the Umehara vs. Sako match* *Apologies for mistakes of any kind! I write this in a hurrty as I need to get to work!! orz* Against Umehara today... Result: I lost... There are still many aspects of this match-up that ...

#55 It's just different meter management between the two. Notice that Daigo often uses that combo if it will satisfy two conditions (usually): win the round, and, the match. It's an expensive combo to perform (3 bars!).
