@trufenix and your argument is utterly bullsh*t nonsense! the assist gem auto guard and tech-throw doesn't have any negatives but instead consumes 1/6 of a meter bar which btw meter gain on this game is easy to obtain! we're talking about a gem that ruins a mix up game for the other opponent and dont give them NO opportunity to damage you at all bcuz the gem does it for u bcuz u dont know ...

ultimate defense gem is NOT again i say NOT the broken op'd gem! its the assist gem auto-block level 2-3 that is broken, only consumes 1/4 or 1/6 of a bar! . i hope on the upcoming patch they can set on option online with no assist gems specially on ranked matches, cuz im definitely encountering a lot of players 90% online using it on ranked matches! the game still sucks! but still enjoyable moderately ...

my friends and my older brother who lives in japan said that this game is not just popular bcuz its new cuz its also good! they say the game is so much fun that it brings back nostalgia memories of guilty gear and jojo bizarre back, even comparing the gameplay and mechanics from guilty gear, they also said so far the game is really promising and definitely outshine blazblue in all sorts!

yup that assist gem is op broken! i played with people with a battery character with onslaught gem then an anchor zangief or hugo with auto block gem that just walks forward! :( and this is coming from me a rank b+ playing with no gems! lol

its not even about character nerfing, its just that about this game outcome sucks, definitely need a balance update asap... lots of jab fest, safe normals and specials, etc. dont get me wrong i enjoy having fun with the game, competitive wise... no! even when winning with broken overpowered top tier characters (ex.rufus) i dont feel the joy of my win in this game! as hard to say... i wouldn't mind seeing a "super" version ...
