Whaaaat Wow, that is sad. Hopefully it was just only his own desires and not something like a lack of funding for his services. It seemed like something he would have loved to do for a living, but perhaps either he's just burned out or the compensation just wasn't there for how much traveling/time spent doing this work.

Yeah, no one's gonna buy this thing. Months after the fact and still gimped with the same horrid DLC setup. Then it'll be blamed on piracy and they'll use the excuse to stop making PC games altogether. #2: Can't mod anything besides client-side cosmetics if you're planning on playing online on a service like gfwl.

Playing something like that in a different country for the first time could be a bit scary no matter who you are. If you don't know their language/understand their customs and behaviors, etc, you wouldn't really know what to think. Especially in a hostile environment like this where people want you to lose. It's too bad, but I wouldn't blame the guy.
