The live action movie was insultingly bad, and screwed up the story for no reason. Blood Vengeance was boring outside of the badass fight at the end, and the CG work was dull compared to Advent Children--which came out 6 years earlier. What I'd much rather see them do is CGI adaptations for Tekken 1-3. That would've been way cooler than either of the movies we got.

@2 - I actually prefer ST's original graphics. HD Remix's visuals look hobbled by the framework its' built on. I wanted to see a remix of something like Third Strike, which has smoother animation, but I doubt that's ever gonna happen. :(

God, this sucks. I always made a note to watch events streamed by Spooky because I knew he'd wring the best possible quality out of it. Really, really sucks that he's not going to be doing it anymore--especially after finding out he's going to stream Evo. And this comes just after Gootecks' departure from the scene as well...damn shame. Thanks for the memories, Spooky. You will be missed.

#6 - More casual players don't pore over frame data and such, so they'll look at it wondering whether X amount of new characters/modes are worth another $40 on top of the $60 for the original. That's the main angle critics look at it from the reviews I've read for upgrades, so it doesn't surprise me that they get lower ratings. @18 - As far as Tekken goes, 1-3 just had endings in the game, and Ling and Julia's T3 endings were the only ones with actual voice acting IIRC. Narrated intros and fully voiced endings weren't standard until T4. At any rate, while I didn't really follow the story, I didn't realize how much I'd miss the extra stuff--adventure/challenge modes, weapons demonstrations, etc.--until SCV.
