these aren't actual combos. it's the combo counter glitch. the counter keeps going up, even though it's not a continuous combo. that's why you have to have to hold forward (to let them hit you with a new combo over and over). it's also why the scaling resets each iteration.

who wants to nerf Akuma? seriously, Akuma as hands down the most wholesomely fair character in the game (and no, I don't play him). He's a low-health XF3 character with a good assist. But his XF3 isn't any crazier than most point characters. He kills fast, but needs an honest mixup on each incoming character.
