So far they've announced 17 of 30 characters and it's safe to say Spider-Man and Viewtiful Joe are in so that's 19 characters. Hopefully they're going over 30 characters (maybe even just to 40). In the 11 left to be announced I really hope to see Captain Commando return. EDIT: Almost forgot Frank West, he's practically been confirmed via silhouette so that makes 20 of 30 characters.

@53 yup it seems pretty doubtful for X. is volnutt really more popular than X over here in the west or than X in general for that matter? i mean the X series had so many games (X1-X8), the legends series had 3 (1, 2 and the misadventures of tron). i think they probably cant figure a moveset because X has more weapons than volnutt. probably thats why zero made it into tvc, his sword ...

this game does NOT suck. im not a great player, mediocre at best, but im still trying to learn. if u want to learn this game u need to play skilled people, or find another newbie who's equally dedicated to learning and play nonstop, and try the whole cast before running for top tier.

@80 seems they change that everytime a new trailer comes out cause the marvel part seems to have a new person between doom and skrull. (cap, doom, ???, skrull) btw about this pic http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/3853/16artwork02.jpg they usually depict dante (and deadpool) with their swords, the only reason i started to wonder is because of the hair and no sword.
