On-disc DLC: Capcom re-evaluating how game content is delivered in the future

As others have mentioned.... at this point of the game's impeding demise.... just go ahead and make the option of one character vs. one character or remove the "tag" all together. The "tag" just isn't working, and it is what is causing the "time-outs". That or have the "tag character" for "cross arts only" in a similar fashion to Marvel vs. Capcom 1. @GodPride True. Not an example of branching. However, I feel from watching videos that the SFxT tag-combo system will feel a little closer to combos-involving-stance-changes with Gen from AE2012 than say Marvel's tag system combos. Of course, that is using the thinking that you substitute a Gen stance-change for a tag in which the other character would come in.

I know little of branching, nor have I had hands-on with SFxT. However, my mind leads me to think the game will play like the character Gen (specifically SF4 series), but with easier game-play. Imagine Gen as two separate characters: Mantis-Stance Gen & Crane-Stance Gen. You start a combo with Crane-Stance Gen which puts the opponent in a juggle-state, then you TAG in Mantis-Stance Gen to rough 'em up further, and then you TAG in ...
