God it would be such a backhand if he suddenly died before he could finish Darkstalkers 4, right when supposedly got his chance after all these years... and hes so passionate about that dream project also... hope he recovers.

A very poor reason, especially since NetherRealm handled this issue much better than Capcom did... people would probably feel less cheated if they released a compatibility pack like NR.

Well... THAT just killed my hype for the game... poor B.B. Hood... Hsien-ko would have been nice too. what a stupid move... now I'm certain that the only franchises that will get 3 or more characters are street fighter, and mega man. then avengers and x-men. That is just lame... i mean really lame... now we are only limited to a few franchise teams. I can't say I'm surprised... but i was still hopeful... perhaps ...
