The runback of the year: Justin Wong vs. Gamerbee at Shadowloo Showdown 2012
Leave it to Wong to turtle it out with one of the more rushdown characters in the game. He spent too much time fishing for an ultra setup rather than setting up mixups. Gamerbee dominated up close which is supposed to be Rufus's specialty. Compare Wong's play to Ricky Ortiz's for reference. Dude probably sticks with Rufus for his stupid-easy ultra setups.
EVO 2012 Street Fighter X Tekken tournament will be 2v2 format, no gems
2v2 seems appropriate. Also screw gems. They always seemed like an afterthought. Not to mention that they're unbalanced and not 100% accessible to everyone. There isn't a single rational argument to be made in favor gems at this time.
Justin Wong discusses counter picking, having a pocket character - covers Juicebox and ChrisG Winter Brawl matches
While some of the negativity directed toward J Wong is unjustified, he could hardly be described as infallible. His sportsmanship is somewhat lacking and it's a rarity to hear him concede defeat without excuses. People have to respect his accomplishments and skill but he has to earn the rest. His fans want to make him out to be Rocky but he's not. He's Apollo Creed and half as exciting.
Street Fighter X Tekken: Seth Killian talks character unlocks and roster size
Where's all of this proper grammar coming from? Who are you people? Eventhubs is no place for articulate discussion! Be gone with you! On another note, it greatly saddens me to hear Seth comment on SFxT's roster size. A potential waste on this apparently gimmicky addition to the SF series.
