As far as THCs go, I've always thought that they would be far more fair if they were countered they'd give the opposite effect to the user. Side exchange is countered by your opponent? YOU lose a meter. Down exchange countered by your opponent? THEY gain a meter. Up exchange countered by your opponent? THEY take a decent chunk of damage (like 100-150k). It makes it a decent risk to use.
