Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Ulimited English trailer features gameplay, 1 vs. 1, 1 vs. 2 and 2 vs. 2 modes showcased
@13 I suppose that's one way you can interpret it, but I'm pretty sure he was just saying that tag players CAN (not will!) beat solo players (in response to the accusation that solo is too good). Always consider context! Whether that turns out to be true or not is a different matter, though.

@39 Actually, I'm pretty sure they have both of the modes you're talking about.

@28 Well, to be fair, they're likely super-weak (hence they didn't spend time balancing them) and they have really tiny, simple 3D models (hence making them much easier to make), so I doubt making them was a HUGE waste. More like a tiny little waste, if anything. But whether the cats are a waste of space or not, they exist, they're programmed, and they're ready to go. So I feel that even if someone hates ...

@16 That's the thing though. I assume these videos don't take place on the Vita, so either the cats are on the console, or they're using the Vita build on a computer or something. I'm kinda hoping for them to make it onto the PS3, 'cause they're the cutest little joke characters I've ever seen.

Oh, I noticed that the two cats are usable in this build. Were they ever officially announced or confirmed for the consoles? I vaguely recall them being Vita-exclusive, but I never really knew what was going on with them. Perhaps a better question, though, is whether they're Japan-exclusive or not. I also vaguely recall complaints from other games that they refuse to bring anything cat-related to NA. Correct me if I'm wrong!

I know it's a severely overdone meme, and I'm not really a fan of it... but for a split-second at 1:43 in the first video, it looks like Poison took an arrow to the knee. Don't hurt me!

Completely unrelated, but... Was the "Hop, skip and a jump" in the last paragraph of this article intentional? :P
Devs want Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to be more about strategy, less about execution
@11 Well sure he can use his kicks, but I meant it like... if Wolverine's moveset and playstyle revolved almost entirely around kicking, with maybe a slashing hyper thrown in from time to time. Perhaps it wasn't the best example. At any rate, I suppose you have a point with some of their excuses. The Ghost Rider one was kinda iffy. I never said anything about brains vs. brawn though... either way, hitting people with ...

@2 I thought it was pretty obvious that there's a certain supension of disbelief when it comes to games like this. They're going to consider balance over staying true to their actual powers. What they're saying is true, Magneto is more about his powers than brawn. In a way, having punchy Magneto is like having Hulk shooting lasers or Wolverine using only kick attacks. It's not representative of their powers or character.
Mega Man, God Hand's Gene were in final Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 character pool
@45 Last time I checked, the series was called "Marvel vs. Capcom", not "Capcom vs. a couple popular Marvel characters".
