Not only is this not Poison's outfit, that's not what her hair looks like, Poison has PINK hair, not PURPLE.

Poison is not a "fad". Poison has been a recognizable character for years. Dudley was a freakin' fad. And Hugo was already deconfirmed by Ono because of the fact he's just a background character, similar to how they ruled out Haggar and Alex because of the fact they're costumes. Poison 4 Life

Yes! I can't wait for Poison. And yes she has been playable, she has been playable in two games, one was canceled before it's final release though, but the point is she can fight, I mean, her first appearance is as one of the members of Mad Gear in Final Fight you have to battle throughout the whole game, so her creation is base don her fighting skills DUH.
