Megaman can have many powes besides his normal buster, he can use any of the weapon from his enemies, he can hop on the mechs to punch, he had used zero sword and protoman shield in the pass, he have multiple armors, and about the 8 bit part, smash brothers did it with mr game & watch and was awesome!, heck you can make Megaman a stealing power character if you lack that ...

i dont think nemesis in re6 but the upcoming Resident evil: Operation Raccon City, features Nemesis as one of the Antagonist because it happen at the same time of RE 2 and 3. Ofcourse i heard re6 was a reboot so anything can happen.
