It's good Capcom is re-evaluating their business tactics, although on-disc DLC is not just a Capcom issue, it's the majority of the industry. I personally have no problems with the on-disc delivery, as it puts the burden of storage on Capcom and not my limited hard drive. I rather use that for downloadable games, movies and what not. Glad to see the infinites go, although I only ran into Kazuya players actually using them in online battles. I am not sure whether any character needs a nerf already, the game has only been released 2 months ago. Why not let the game develop for a while before making these type of changes? We've been through this with MvC3's Sentinel. I wonder if this is because "they listen to the fans"... :)

I don't use assist gems, but I also don't complain when others use them. You basically run the risk if you play ranked matches that you will depend on these gems in order to keep your BP up. They're crutches, but in the hands of an already good player they become straight up nightmares. Luckily most skilled players don't use them.
