@#48 2,866 wins 2,146 losses 74.88% doesn't make any sense. I think you mean 2,866 matches played, 2,146 wins and 720 losses.

The Beast is unleashed explained: EVO moment #37 analysis by Seth Killian
@#29 They're just random numbers: "For people that ask how the numbers are chosen... we basically just pick a # that isn't 1-10 so represent the idea that there are ALWAYS more amazing moments around the corner. When I picked #37 years ago, we knew we were in for some crazy stuff in the years to come and EVO hasn't disappointed yet! Stay tuned for more amazing moments!"

@#323 Mago beat Sako 3-1 in the round robin. lol Sako did beat Fuudo tho. Also Kazunoko beat Mago 3-1 in the round robin but lost 5-12 just now in the offline matches. Just goes to show how little the round robin online matches mean.

Mago vs Daigo could have gone either way. A lot of the rounds came down to pixel health but Daigo seemed to have no reliable way to chip Mago out. Compared to the 3-10 defeat Daigo took against Mago's Fei in GGO2 this match-up doesn't look so bad anymore. I'm more surprised Mago beat Momochi, since Fei has a hard time against Cody in 2012.
