It seems like in every stream I watch theirs match ups where instead of using anti-air they'll allow the jump-in and just block. Is their some kind of advantage to this that I'm not seeing?

Really wanted Nightcrawler higher but, gambit is a solid second choice. Megaman X is a great addition especially if he has gold armor as a super. Roll Tide!
