No recovery frames? They have more than that if you bait it. As i said before i think they are at a disadvantage by not being able to anti-air. There is plenty of recovery on a srk once it whiffs. Im not one to complain much but one thing i think really shouldnt have changed was ryu's shoryuken. The two hits makes the priority really bad. I personally play abel and noticed that when i do a rekka and then ryu blocks it and i go for the rekka grab, if he dragon punches my grab we trade! Its done that consistently.
