Street Fighter X Tekken not due for two years
I think its ok to place some sort of Assist or Easy mode in, as long as its an optional feature. Makes the game accessible to a wider audience, and doesn't affect the normal crowd. All it takes online, is a 'Easy mode on/off' toggle. Part of the SF newcomer crowd will continue with the Easy Mode, and never take it seriously, but another group might just make that leap into the serious fighting game ...

I think this is a project of passion from developers of both Capcom and Namco, so just adding DLC would not do it justice. Plus there is that Tag element. Ono himself paid tribute to Namco for holding up the fort for fighting games during the Street Fighter vacuum. The developers have respect for one another, and are even buddies, I think they would be surprised at all the venom down at the fanboy level. ...

Not a perfect example, but if they wanted Law in SF, maybe he would turn out like Fei Long, and if they wanted E Honda in Tekken, he would turn out like Ganryu.

I would buy SF vs Mortal Kombat, if they made 2 games. One which basically SF4, with Tekken characters in it. The other an MK style game with SF4 characters in it. I would buy the SF4 style game, and then totally ignore the MK style game with SF characters in it lol.
