Harada hopes to implement custom team feature in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Snoop Dogg talks involvement in game

Game Trailers has posted an interview with Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken Tag Tournament 2's Game Director. Harada mentions that he hopes to include a custom team feature to the game allowing players to jump online, find other players of similar skill level and battle other teams and rivals.

Also, Gamespot uploaded an interview with Snoop Dogg to discuss his appearance in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Level|Up streaming Namco Bandai Games at E3, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and more - day 2

Updated: Day 2 of stream is about to kick off here soon, at 9:50 a.m. PDT (4:50 a.m. GMT).

The guys at Level|Up have teamed up with Namco Bandai Games at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2012 aka E3.

They will be streaming the latest games from Namco Bandai, it is likely we'll see Tekken Tag Tournament 2 since it was just announced for the Wii U and more of of Namco's latest games.

The guys over at LevelUpYourGame have uploaded the first video of gameplay footage with Kunimitsu in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Namco Bandai games has also released some new Tekken Tag Tournament 2 screenshots and then some images taken from the TTT2 booth at E3 of the CG endings, character selection screen, the Combot and more.

Console release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 receiving Snoop Dogg stage

Tekken Tag Tournament will be recieveing a DLC stage that features none other than Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg.

If you pre-order the game you get early access to the bonus stage before it's released on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network Additionally pre-ordering will also give you early access to four DLC characters Michelle, Ancient Ogre, Angel and Kunimitsu. A short trailer was for this stage was uploaded onto NamcoBandai's YouTube page.

Updated: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 coming to Wii U, quick gameplay footage

Updated: A very short clip showing TTT2 on Nintendo's Wii U has been added into this story. Towards the end, you can see that Heihachi grabs a mushroom power up, which Harada explains is a fun battle mode.

Announced during Nintendo's press conference for E3, Namco Bandai's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be coming to the Wii U. A few seconds of gameplay footage were shown, here's a quick screen capture.

North American pre-orders for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 at GameStop gives all four DLC characters

Siliconera has noted that in North America pre-ordering Tekken Tag Tournament 2 from GameStop will give players all four DLC characters Angel, Michelle, Kunimitsu and Ogre.

However if you pre-order from Amazon or Best Buy you will only get Angel and Michelle as a bonus.

For Europe pre-orders it was announced earlier this week that you would only get two out of four characters depending on what retailer you use.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is set to release on September 11, 2012 in North America and September 14, 2012 in Europe.

SBO 2012 (Tougeki) held on August 4-5, game schedule and formats released

This year's Super Battle Opera (Tougeki) will be held on August 4-5, 2012. Previously an arcade only tournament, SBO is now going to have a few console exclusive titles like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Soul Calibur 5.

Today, we got an email that contains official artwork for Kunimitsu, Angel and Ogre in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, confirming these three characters will be involved in this game. These pieces are in the exact same style as the other TTT2 characters that we have seen in the past.
