With all 5 of the DLC characters now chosen to be included in Skullgirls, many fans still have favorites they'd like to see added to the roster. Ravidrath from Lab Zero Games keeps active over on the NeoGAF forums and recently dropped a bit of information on one of the characters included in the DLC polls, Annie.
It seems there is still a high demand for Annie and Ravidrath stated that he recommends fans do not try and raise money for her. He goes on to say that the team is already booked with work to occupy the next year adding more wouldn't be a great idea.
Below is a bit from Ravidrath.
I dunno, I think I should go on record and say that people should NOT try to raise money for Annie.
We've already got work for more than a year, and a lot could change in that time. I think there's a good chance that Autumn's lawsuits will be resolved one way or another, and I think Annie would be a priority after Umbrella, Black Dahlia and Marie.
The Skullgirls Twitter account has been responding to various questions about the DLC characters and the future of the game. User BernkastelWitch was curious if the team planned do additional characters after the five which were funded by the crowdfunding.
@bernkastelwitch That's a year out, so impossible to say. My hope is that Autumn's legal problems are over and we roll into SG2.
Despite an initial delay the Skullgirls team thought the DLC colors for the PlayStation Network would not be released until next Tuesday. Thanks to Shane Bettenhausen of PlayStation they were able to get them released today.
Each character has a new color pack which is available for $1, it contains 4 new color palettes along with a bonus one for purchasing the pack. These are priced at $1 each, but they are also offering a discounted bundle of all the color packs for $5.
Below is a look at the new color palettes. Hit the jump to see them all.
The official Skullgirls Tumblr has posted a ton of concept attacks for the possible DLC characters. Many of these characters are already eliminated but you can still get an idea of what the team were brainstorming for each one.
