The SoCal Regionals 2013 tournament kicked off in Irvine California on January 18th, at the University of California, and ran through Sunday evening. There were tournaments for multiple games, including exhibition matches for Street Fighter X Tekken v2013 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

If you're looking to pick up the very awesome fighter, Persona 4 Arena, but have been holding out for a great price, try hitting up your local GameStops as the title has been marked down to $19.99 USD.

This offer is only good if you stop by actual locations, e.g. not online, but it's a considerable mark down on a game that's still selling for about $50-$60 USD at other retail outlets.

Persona 4 Arena European version awaiting approval from Sony and Microsoft, release date in the works

The official Persona Europe Facebook page recently posted a status update concerning the Persona 4 Arena release in Europe. It appears that the PlayStation 3 version of the game is ready to be sent over to Sony and the Xbox 360 version's preparation will soon follow. Once these are approved by both companies a release date can be generated.

This weekend Apex 2013 will be taking place in New Brunswick, New Jersey and will begin on Friday January 11 - 13.
