Persona 4: Arena - Labrys practical combo video from Persona

Persona is once again back with a new combo video for a new game. Yesterday, he posted a video for Labrys in Persona 4: Arena using her max leveled axe (the red axe icon above her super meter) to get damage.

I decided to take a different approach with the video and made the combos a bit more practical than fancy since it's a new game. A few things worth mentioning is that I perform the combos with a red axe icon since that's her highest level (which you will obviously want to keep). It improves her damage and hitstun although I'm pretty sure that most (if not all) the combos in the video can be performed in any color. Another thing is that I perform her qcb B at the fourth hit of her A-A-A-A-A combo since it does more damage but you need to recover a bit of health since it becomes a super cancel.

Persona 4 Arena simple character guides from Brokentier

Koogy and Turbovec over at Brokentier posted simple character guides for Persona 4 Arena that give an overview of each character, pros and cons, the main objective each character hopes to achieve with their play-style and they even provide video examples for each character. Below is an example of how each guide is set up and be sure check out the rest of the cast by heading to Brokentier's article.

Yu "the Hero" Narukami

Pros:
+ Long range normals, great for spacing and pressure at medium range.
+ Excellent oki and mixup utilizing his Persona.
+ Capable of high damage combos

Cons:
- Not the greatest at long range/full screen.

Goal:
Stay at medium range until you land a hit, then cause a knockdown and then mixup with Persona attacks.

Yu in this video sticks to the knockdown + Persona oki tactic, forcing the Labrys to take damage just to escape the situation.

High level players to look out for:
Kasumi LOVE

Reliable match footage uploader Jourdal recently YouTube'd the archive footage of GodsGarden where Kazunoko was playing Persona 4 Arena online.

Yu Narukami is a character whose strength lies in his ability to pressure players with mixups while his persona stays on screen attacking the opponent. Watch as Kazunoko goes wild with the high-low mixups while the opponent is locked down.

Persona 4: Arena on Xbox 360 reported to be extremely laggy

Persona 4: Arena on Xbox 360 reported to be extremely laggy Beast Note recently reported that Kubo, a well-known Japanese Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 player, has had trouble playing online on the Xbox 360 version of Persona 4: Arena.

Kubo's main game is Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena and is famously known for discovering the Kubota Escape glitch in UMvC3.

Here's a quote from Beast Note.

Kubo bought both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of P4U and tried the online play on his stream. The 360 version had an unplayable lag (heavy slowdown). He tested with 4 different users. He also tried switching back and forth to training mode. The problem was really the online play.

He then tried the PS3 version. The online play was okay on PS3.

You probably know Kubo as an UMvC3 player, but when he goes to the arcades, he plays P4U as main game.
